Gunshots heard outside Salman Khan’s house, Mumbai police probes

Gunshots were heard outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Bandra early morning. According to the Mumbai police, two unidentified men on a motorcycle fired five rounds outside Khan’s house and fled from the scene.

Mumbai police is currently investigating As per the same reports, a butter hit the first floor where Khan resides. A foreign pistol was allegedly used for firing.

In a report, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) said last year that Khan is one of the top 10 targets that jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi planned to eliminate. This is in regards to his infamous black buck hunting incident in 1998, which according to the gangster, displeased the Bishnoi community.

Mumbai police have increased Khan’s security status to Y+. This category is a security detail of 11 personnel, including 2 to 4 CRPF or CISF commandos and police personnel.
