Kim Ji Won has recently opened up about her experience working on the hit drama Queen of Tears. While speaking to a leading website, Ji Won recalled crying after watching a particular episode that had some heavy scenes.
She noted that she usually monitors herself in each episode, but episode 11 of the series made her cry. Speaking further, she said that her character Hae In went through some intense experiences in the episode that made her heartbroken. She also mentioned that filming those scenes with the senior actors of the show was “heartwarming.”
Ji Won noted that filming the emotional scenes in Germany like the moments from Hong Hae In and Baek Hyeon Woo’s newlywed days was also memorable for her. “After filming the happiest and most painful memories, I could understand Hong Hae In’s heart in great depth,” she added.
Queen of Tears is one of the most trending K-dramas currently. It is competing with bigger names in the K-drama genre like Goblin and Crash Landing On You. It currently recorded the highest viewership ratings for a drama aired by its network tvN.
