Janhvi Kapoor made her Bollywood debut in 2018 with Dhadak, and since then there’s been no turning back for her. Ulajh
Janhvi Kapoor will be seen sharing screen space with Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Mathew in pivotal roles in the stylized International thriller Ulajh. Helmed by Sudhanshu Saria., the film has gotten everyone talking which will be a concoction of mystery and suspense and will see Janhvi portray a layered character.
Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari
Janhvi’s chemistry with Varun Dhawan was much-liked in Bawaal. They’re all set to reunite for a fun rom-com again in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari which will be helmed by Shashank Khaitan. Though the title has been released, the first looks are yet to drop.
Mr. and Mrs Mahi
Janhvi Kapoor will be seen alongside Rajkummar Rao once again in Mr and Mrs Mahi post their outing together in Roohi. She will get into the skin of a cricketer and is undergoing a severe two-year training program to prepare for the role. Sports drama is another genre she hasn’t dabbled in before and it’ll be refreshing to see her portray it on the big screen.
Karna
This mythological epic will see Janhvi Kapoor feature alongside another South superstar – Suriya. Another feather on her cap as she tackles a new genre and a completely different character. Like every other period production, Karna will be a visual delight for ardent fans of Indian mythology.
Devara
Janhvi’s late mother and one of the earliest female superstars – Sridevi has had several ventures in the South film industry. Coming onboard for Devara with Jr NTR is both nostalgic and a milestone as Sridevi had previously collaborated with the South actor’s grandfather. Devara is one of the most buzz-making films of the year considering the cast.
The variety and range of genres are evident in the lineup that Janhvi Kapoor has ahead of her this year. Putting her acting prowess to more test, it’ll be exciting to see the actress challenge her with every character.
