Earlier today, it was reported that Amitabh Bachchan has been admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital and was undergoing angioplasty for a clot in his leg. The actor took to his X account on Friday afternoon, after reports of his health issues, to express gratitude, stating, “T 4950 – in gratitude ever…” Fans expressed concern and wished him a speedy recovery.
It is reported that the actor, admitted to the hospital in the early hours of Friday, has since been discharged and is now recovering at home.
The news of his hospitalisation left fans worried, and many have been praying for his speedy recovery. Last year, Bachchan celebrated his 81st birthday but has been facing minor health issues time and again. He recently suffered a fractured wrist at the start of the year and had to be on bed rest while shooting for Kalki 2898 AD.
Despite these challenges, Bachchan is set to star in Nag Ashwin’s upcoming film Kalki 2898 AD alongside Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, scheduled for release in May.
