Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 priced at Rs 2.99 lakh | Autocar Professional

The updated ‘Mach 2’ version of Ultraviolette’s electric sports has debuted roughly a year and a half after the market launch of the F77. Ultraviolette is a Bangalore based startup that launched its first product called the F77 back in 2022. Now Ultraviolette is ready with its update called the F77 Mach 2 which builds over the F77 platform and introduces some new features.

A whole host of new electronic features have been introduced as part of the ‘Performance Pack’ to make the F77 Mach 2 safer than before. For starters,  Ultraviolette has introduced changes to the braking system which involves a new optimised ABS system that features a front only ABS mode, which turns off rear ABS and leaves the front ABS active. Additionally, traction control has been introduced with 3 levels (Rain, city and track).

Level 3 being the most intrusive and level 1 the least intrusive. Ultraviolette has also added hill hold assist, a TPMS (Optional on both variants), the ability to set a charge limit, ‘find my F77’ feature, new themes for the display and on board navigation which will be integrated into the display.

The performance pack is currently bundled into the introductory price for the first 1000 customers after which it will be chargeable. It’s also worth mentioning that most of these features will be standard on the F77 Mach 2 Recon, they remain optional for the standard F77 Mach 2.

The F77 Mach 2 and F77 Mach 2 Recon boast of a higher IDC range of 211km and 323km respectively. While performance remains unchanged. The F77 Mach 2 has been launched at an introductory price of Rs. 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom Bangalore) and Rs. 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom Bangalore) for the F77 Mach 2 Recon. Bookings for both motorcycles will be open across 15 cities starting today. Ultraviolette also has plans of expansion of its dealership network with 18 to 20 new locations across India.
