The Taiwan-Indian co-production film titled Demon Hunters will debut its first footage at the Cannes Film Market. Directed by Chen Mei-Juin and produced by Light House Productions and Kleos Entertainment Group, the action horror comedy stars Arjan Bajwa and Taiwan’s J.C. Lin as the main leads. Other than that, the cast includes Regina Lei, Jack Kao, and Harry Chan. The cinematographer is Hong Kong veteran Tony Cheung.
Speaking about the film, Cindy Shyu of Light House Productions said, “Demon Hunters is a testament to the power of collaboration.” She added that the movie blends action and comedy, making Cannes the perfect global stage to showcase this visionary movie.
Gayathiri Guliani of Kleos Entertainment Group added that Demon Hunters represents dedication to innovating and setting the benchmark for engaging content for an international audience. She stated, “At Kleos, we firmly believe in challenging limits and pushing boundaries.”
Chen discussed the exhilarating journey of creating the wholesome entertainer and expressed his excitement, saying, “I can’t wait for audiences to experience it and to see how they react to the first look at Cannes.”
Arjan Bajwa, the main lead in the film, added, “Being a part of Demon Hunters has been an incredible experience. The opportunity to collaborate with such talented individuals from across the globe has been truly rewarding. I can’t wait for audiences to join us on this wild adventure.”
J.C. Lin, the other main lead, expressed his excitement, stating that it is a dream come true and that he is honoured to collaborate with a talented team from both India and Hong Kong. He added, “I’m excited for viewers to immerse themselves in the world we’ve created. And the ride has just begun with this unveiling in Cannes.”
Demon Hunters is set to hit theatres globally this winter.
