James Gunn, the writer and director of Superman revealed the first look at the new David Corenswet as the new Superman. The actor can be seen donning the Man Of Steel suit. The first look doesn’t give away much but it does tease the return of Superman’s classic look complete with the red underwear.
James Gunn took to his Instagram handle to share the first look featuring David Corenswet in a weathered suit. He captioned the post, “Get ready. Superman. 7.11.25.”

David Corenswet is stepping into the role of Superman after Henry Cavill who essayed the role in the DCEU. The announcement of Cavill’s departure from the role came as a shock to fans. Corenswet is best known for his work in Hollywood, The Politician and Pearl.
Gunn’s Superman also features Rachel Brosnahan, best known for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. The cast also includes Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, Skyler Gisondo, Isabela Merced and more.
