Director Kelsey Mann Recalls Maya Hawke’s Unique Audition For Inside Out 2

Inside Out 2 is just months away from release and fans are eagerly waiting what this installation has to offer as new emotions like Anxiety, Envy and Embarrassment have been added. The Academy Award winning prequel was about teenage emotions stirring a chaos in Riley’s mind. Recently, director Kelsey Mann opened up about having Stranger Things star, Maya Hawke voicing Anxiety in the film. Kelsey said, “Here’s a really cool thing about Maya, [she] was awesome, you know. It’s a really fun story. I auditioned Maya from Disney World, believe it or not. So, we went out to like to do an audition with Maya, and Mark was like, ‘Good news is she said, ‘’Yes.”She would love to audition and meet with you. Bad news is it’s during your vacation.’ So, me and my kids, we were all at Disney World. I’m like ‘Ah, man, I’m at Disney World.’ He’s like ‘Don’t worry, we’ll figure something out.” 

Inside Out 2 will be opening in Indian theatres on June 14.
