Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer to team up with AR Rahman for Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana?

Nitesh Tiwari’s mythological film Ramayana which reportedly features Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Sai Pallavi and more is the talk of the town currently. Amidst leaked footage and production updates, it looks like the makers are in talks with Oscar winners Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman.

As per reports on a leading news portal, composer Hans Zimmer, best known for his stellar work in the Dark Knight Trilogy, Interstellar and The Lion King, will soon make his Bollywood debut with Ranbir Kapoor starrer Ramayana.

Reports also mention that Hans Zimmer is impressed with the scale of the project. Zimmer will join forces with music maestro AR Rahman for the Nitesh Tiwari directorial.

Apart from Ranbir who is set to play Lord Ram, Sai’s Sita and Yash’s Ravana, Ramayana reportedly features Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, Sunny Deol as Hamnuman and Arun Govil as Dashrath.

Confirmation about the film’s cast, Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman’s involvement is awaited.
