Amjadullah Khan Visits Amer Shakeel Home, Demands End to Police Torture

MBT Spokesperson Amjadullaah Khan Visits Amer Shakeel TRS Home, Demands End to Police Torture

In a move to address growing concerns over alleged police harassment, Amjadullah Khan, spokesperson for the Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT), visited the residence of Amer Shakeel, a member of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), today. Khan expressed his firm stance against the reported mistreatment of Shakeel’s family by law enforcement officials in connection with an ongoing case.

Upon his visit to the TRS leader’s home, Khan emphasized the need for justice and fair treatment. He urged an immediate halt to any forms of police torture inflicted upon Amer Shakeel’s family members, stressing the importance of upholding fundamental rights and dignity.

Speaking to reporters gathered outside Shakeel’s residence, Khan conveyed a direct appeal to Chief Minister Revant Reddy, urging swift intervention to ensure the protection of Shakeel’s family from any undue harassment. “The rule of law must prevail, and every citizen, regardless of their political affiliation, deserves to be treated fairly and with respect,” Khan stated emphatically.

The visit comes amidst escalating tensions surrounding the case involving Amer Shakeel, with allegations of police overreach and intimidation clouding the proceedings. Khan’s presence at Shakeel’s home signals a concerted effort by the MBT to address what they perceive as a violation of civil liberties.

Reacting to Khan’s visit, supporters of Shakeel and members of the TRS expressed gratitude for the solidarity shown by the MBT. They echoed Khan’s call for an end to any form of mistreatment and called upon the state government to uphold the principles of justice and equality.

Meanwhile, authorities have yet to respond to the allegations of police harassment leveled against them in the handling of Amer Shakeel Son’s Case. The Chief Minister’s office has not issued a statement regarding Khan’s appeal.

As tensions continue to simmer, the spotlight remains firmly fixed on the handling of Shakeel Son’s Case and the broader issue of police conduct in Telangana. The outcome of this situation is eagerly awaited by both the political fraternity and the public, with many hoping for a swift resolution that upholds the principles of justice and human rights.
