Jaya Bachchan is celebrating her 76th birthday today, and many celebrities, including husband Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan, have wished her for her birthday. Abhishek Bachchan shared a throwback photo of his mother Jaya Bachchan with a sweet and heartfelt message, writing, “Happy birthday Maa. Love you.”
Several fans and celebrities, such as Zoya Akhtar, Chitrangada Singh, Nimrat Kaur, Chunky Panday, and Sussanne Khan, took to the comments section to wish the actor-turned-politician on her birthday.
Amitabh Bachchan also wished his wife a gratitude-filled note.
Jaya Bachchan was born on April 9, 1948, and made her acting debut as a teenager in Satyajit Ray’s Mahanagar (1963). She went on to star in her first film as an adult in Guddi (1971). She was last seen in Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani (2023), directed by Karan Johar and starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in titular roles. She is also a part of Navya Naveli Nanda’s podcast, What The Hell Navya.
