In 2024, three fans of KGF star Yash died while they were installing a cutout of the star in preparation for his birthday. The incident prompted the star to request his fans to not participate in any grand gestures in trying to show their love but now, in a new advertisement for a beverage brand, the actor seems to be celebrating the same gesture.
The new ad has Yash riding a bike with his face covered in a scarf and sunglasses. He then enters a shop and treats himself to a beverage as he also decides to distribute the beverage to everyone who is outside in the scorching heat. As he gets out, he realises that the crowd of people are putting up his own hoarding and he rides away.

The tragic incident happened in 2024 when three fans in Suranga village of Gadag district died on the spot as they were trying to install a cut out of the actor after getting electrocuted. At the time, Yash expressed his concern during an interaction with the media and said, “If you wish me wholeheartedly, from where ever you are, that is the best gesture for me. Tragic incidents like these make me fear my own birthday. This is not how you show fandom. Please don’t show your love like this. I want to request you all. Don’t hang banners, don’t do bike chases and take dangerous selfies. My intention is for all of my audience and fans is to grow in life as I do. If you are a true fan of mine, then do your work diligently, dedicate your life to yourself and be happy and successful. You are the ones who mean everything to your families, you should aim to make them proud.”
