Wednesday actress Catherine Zeta-Jones’ recent social media post has left her desi fans excited. She shared a screenshot of a still from Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s film Shanti Om and said that she is enjoying the film while waiting for the US Open. 

The Mask Of Zorro actress shared a screenshot of the scene where SRK and Deepika were playing tennis in the song Dhoom Ta Na. She wrote, “Waiting for Trump to take his seat at the US Open. Enjoying Om Shanti Om while we wait and wait in the car.” 

The post was shared on Reddit, and it soon went viral. One user wrote, “Omg guys Shahrukh had a crush on Catherine Zeta Jones imagine your crush posting you,” while another user added, “Farah and Dileep on their way to Jeeta mem kitchen to cook pav bhaji.”

This is not the first time the actress, known for playing Morticia Addams has expressed her love for Om Shanti Om.

During the International Film Festival of India in 2013, she shared that the Farah Khan directorial was one of her favourite films besides The Lunchbox. 

She said back then, “I have always been a huge fan of Bollywood, and being a singer and a dancer, I dreamt maybe the British film industry would do the Bollywood type of films and I would be able to be cast.”

Catherine Zeta-Jones recently reprised her role as Morticia Addams in Wednesday season 2. She played an important role in helping Wednesday (played by Jenna Ortega) figure out herself and solve the mysteries haunting her.
