Watch: Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli visit Ayodhya`s Hanuman Garhi temple

Actor Anushka Sharma and her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli have been on a spiritual journey recently. After visiting an Ashram in Delhi, the power couple visited the historic Hanuman Garhi temple in Ayodhya. Visuals from their visit to the temple has been doing the rounds on social media.

In clips doing the rounds on social media, Virat and Anushka can be seen standing side by side, with folded hands, as they paid their respects inside the temple. Anushka, who was dressed in a mauve suit, also covered her head with dupatta, while Virat, in a cream ethnic outfit, stood next to her. Both folded their hands and bowed their heads during the prayer.

The couple`s visit was met with warm hospitality from the temple priests, who presented them with garlands and shawls.

Sanjay Das Ji Maharaj, the Mahant (head priest) of Hanuman Garhi temple, shared his thoughts on the couple`s visit. Speaking to ANI, he said, “Virat Kohli ji and Anushka Sharma ji have a strong attachment towards spirituality, culture, God, and Sanatana Dharma. They had darshan of Bhagwan Ramlala and then took blessings from Hanuman ji.”

Anushka and Virat`s trip to Vrindavan

 Following his recent retirement from Test cricket, cricketer Virat Kohli, along with his wife and actress Anushka Sharma, visited Vrindavan in Mathura. 

The couple paid a visit to renowned spiritual leader Premanand Maharaj, where they sought blessings and engaged in a heartfelt discussion on spirituality. Choosing to keep the visit simple and low-key, Virat and Anushka spent time in spiritual reflection, speaking with Maharaj about the path to divine realization and inner peace.

During the interaction, Anushka asked a thought-provoking question: “Baba, can chanting the Lord’s name alone lead us to liberation?” Maharaj responded with a smile, asking, “Are you happy?” When she nodded, he simply said, “Then it’s all good.”

Bhajan Marg, the official YouTube channel of Premanand Govind Sharan Maharaj, shared a video of Anushka and Virat receiving spiritual insights from Swami Premanand. In the video, the spiritual leader offered profound reflections on the essence of divine grace, urging devotees to look beyond material success and focus on inner transformation. Speaking to the couple during the gathering, Maharaj emphasized that God’s mercy is not about granting abundance or worldly rewards—it is about bringing a sense of completeness that transforms one’s inner world.
