War 2 teaser out! Villainous Jr NTR takes on Hrithik Roshan’s Kabir

As promised by Hrithik Roshan a few days back—that NTR’s birthday would be an explosive one this year—the teaser of the most awaited film of 2025, War 2, starring two of the superstars of film industry, Hrithik Roshan and NTR, was released today!

On Jr NTR’s birthday, the makers of War 2 dropped the official teaser of the film. The teaser of the upcoming action drama opens with a voiceover from Jr NTR, in which he can be heard challenging Hrithik Roshan`s character, Kabir. In the 1-minute, 34-second video, NTR says, “Meri nazar kab se tujh par hai Kabir. India’s best soldier, RAW ka best agent tu tha. Ab nahi. Tu mujhe nahi jaanta, par ab jaan jaayega.”

The video takes us through some high-octane action scenes and introduces Jr NTR in a fierce negative role. The teaser then gives us a glimpse of Hrithik Roshan reprising his role as Kabir, along with a blink-and-miss appearance by mom-to-be Kiara Advani, who will be seen romancing Hrithik.

About War 2 & Hrithik-NTR`s dance face off

There will be an exciting dance-off between Hrithik and Jr NTR. The idea apparently came from producer Aditya Chopra, who knew that pitting the two accomplished dancers against each other would serve as the movie’s biggest highlight. Chopra, along with director Ayan Mukerji and choreographer Bosco Martis, then conceptualized the set-piece.

A source earlier told us, “While Adi was certain that War 2 would be a stylized actioner, he wanted the two superstars to groove together since they are known for their energy and smooth moves. In the sequence, Hrithik, who reprises his role as R&AW agent Kabir Dhaliwal, makes his way to the hideout of the antagonist, portrayed by Jr NTR. What follows is an electrifying dance battle that segues into the climactic fight set-piece. The two actors have been rehearsing individually for the past 15 days. The makers have deliberately kept them apart so that when they lock horns in front of the camera, it will look natural.”

With Kiara in the lead & directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 will be released on Aug 14 worldwide in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu. War 2 is the sixth film of the YRF Spy Universe franchise that has only delivered blockbusters.
