Waaree Renewable Technologies secures ₹345 crore solar EPC order in Rajasthan

Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL) has secured a ₹345 crore order for the turnkey execution of a 300 MW AC / 435 MW DC ground-mounted solar photovoltaic project in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The order was awarded by a domestic renewable energy generation company and is scheduled for completion in the financial year 2025–26.

The project scope includes end-to-end design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning, along with the development of a modern 33/220 kV pooling substation. Additionally, advanced robotic cleaning systems will be integrated to ensure optimum plant performance and reduce long-term operations and maintenance (O&M) costs, the company said in an official release.

“This project is a testament to our robust technical expertise and proven execution strength,” said Sunil Rathi, Executive Director, WRTL. With a strong track record of executing over 2.32 GW of solar EPC installations and currently managing an additional 3.2 GW of projects, Waaree Renewable Technologies has reinforced its position as a trusted partner in India’s renewable energy value chain, the release added.
