Vishnu Vishal is stepping back into the limelight with Aaryan, a crime drama set to release on October 31, 2025. Directed by Praveen K, the film marks his return as the central hero after almost three years. For Vishnu, the journey hasn’t been easy — he has described the last 34 months as a real test, making this comeback feel all the more personal. And the film’s title? It carries a special emotional touch, as it’s named after his son Aryan.
Crime, Suspense and a Killer Ensemble
Though the storyline is being kept tightly under wraps, the buzz suggests Aaryan will see Vishnu as a cop racing against time to crack a chain of murders spread across just five days. It’s the kind of role that recalls his celebrated turn in Ratsasan, one of Tamil cinema’s most gripping thrillers in recent years.

Joining him on screen are Shraddha Srinath and Maanasa Choudhary, with filmmaker-actor Selvaraghavan playing a pivotal character. Behind the scenes, the film boasts a stellar crew: music by Sam CS, visuals by Harish Kannan, and editing by San Lokesh. The screenplay comes from Manu Anand, who earlier collaborated with Vishnu Vishal on FIR.
Backed by Vishnu’s own production house, Vishnu Vishal Studioz, Aaryan is primed for a pan-Indian release in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
