Shashtipoorthi is headlined by Rajendra Prasad and his Ladies Tailor heroine Archana. Produced by Maa Aaie Productions with Rupeysh and Akanksha Singh as a young pair, the film heads to theatres on May 30.
A family song titled Veyi Venuvulu was unveiled today. A song fit for the occasion, after which the film has been titled, it is rendered by Karthik and Vibhavari Apte Joshi. Chaitanya Prasad is the lyricist, while Maestro Ilaiyaraaja goes about heralding his kind of music. The spirited family song has been shot on the core cast, the occasion being amenable for a grand get-together.
Art director Thota Tarani’s work is touted to be special. “This song will be played during Shashtipoorthi occasions in the coming years,” the makers suggest.
The film, directed by Pavan Prabha, also features Prabhas Sreenu, Chalaki Chanti, Chakrapani Ananda, Achyut Kumar, Muralidhar Goud, Anil, Jabardasth Ram, Latha, Swetha, Ruhi, Sanjay Swarup, Ambaresh Appaji, and Anupama.
