
TVS Motor Company announced the launch of its HLX 150 5G motorcycle in the Republic of Congo on June 23, 2025, at 3:30 PM in Lubumbashi. The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer introduced the new version with enhanced features including LED headlamp, adjustable rear suspension, and tubeless tyres as part of its continued expansion in African markets.
The HLX 150 5G incorporates a 150cc Eco Thrust engine with integrated oil-cooling technology designed to deliver efficient power output while maintaining low fuel consumption and maintenance costs. The motorcycle features a five-gear transmission system engineered to handle varied terrain conditions including hilly areas and challenging road surfaces.
Key specifications include an 18-inch rear alloy wheel, tubeless tyres for enhanced stability, and an adjustable rear suspension system. The vehicle maintains the extended seating configuration with space for rider, passenger, and additional cargo capacity. Additional features comprise a chrome muffler, rim tape detailing, and updated graphics package.
The HLX series has established a customer base of four million users since its African market debut in 2013. The motorcycle line currently operates across 57 countries spanning Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East regions, serving personal transportation, commercial taxi services, and delivery applications.
