Applause Entertainment and Kukunoor Movies have made The Hunt: The Rajiv Gandhi Assassination Case as a nail-biting political thriller. The same, directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, will premiere on SonyLIV from July 4.

Based on a well-researched book named Ninety Days, the show is co-written with Rohit Banawalikar and Sriram Rajan. “The assassination that shook the nation. The manhunt that stunned the world,” the OTT platform wrote, sharing its trailer. Amit Sial, Sahil Vaid, Bagavathi Perumal, Danish Iqbal, Girish Sharma, Vidyut Gargi, and Shafeeq Mustafa feature in different roles.
