Tata Technologies has partnered with RV College of Engineering (RVCE), Bengaluru, to establish the Center for Invention, Innovation, Incubation & Training (CIIIT) on the RVCE campus.
Tata Technologies has pledged approximately ₹50 crore to the initiative, while the Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST), which governs RVCE, has committed around ₹10 crore to the centre’s development.
The CIIIT aims to nurture a new generation of industry-ready engineers, technicians, and skilled operators who can be immediately deployed in modern industrial environments. The centre will also support micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by supplying a steady pipeline of skilled professionals.
Commenting on the MOU, Dr. K. N. Subramanya, Principal, RVCE, said, “The Center for Invention, Innovation, Incubation & Training (CIIIT) at RVCE represents a transformative ecosystem to bridge academia and industry.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Dr. M. P. Shyam, President of RSST; Dr. A. V. S. Murthy, honorary secretary of RSST; D. P. Nagaraj, Joint Secretary of RSST; Dr K. N. Subramanya, Principal of RVCE; Dr K. S. Geetha, Vice Principal of RVCE; and several trustees and faculty members.
Shri Sushil Kumar, Global Head; Shri Pawan Bhageria, President; Shri Prashant H, Program Director; Sunil Mahadikar; and Prashant Handigund represented Tata Technologies.
