Aryan Khan’s web-series The Ba***ds of Bollywood has added a musical highlight to its journey with the launch of the track Ghafoor. Released on Friday, the vibrant number brings together retro charm, catchy beats, and a glamorous performance by Tamannaah Bhatia.

The song has been penned and composed by Shashwat Sachdev, with the vocals delivered by Shilpa Rao and Ujwal Gupta. Unlike a typical music video, Ghafoor begins with a playful cameo featuring Bollywood’s veteran villains, Gulshan Grover, Shakti Kapoor, and Ranjeet, discussing a feared gangster before the music takes over.

Once the beats kick in, Tamannaah makes her stylish entry. Dressed to dazzle, she owns the dance floor with choreography crafted by Farah Khan. Adding to the fun, Grover, Kapoor, and Ranjeet join Tamannaah for a brief, light-hearted dance moment, giving the video a nostalgic twist. Shot by cinematographer S. Ravivarman and edited by Tushar Parekh, the track’s visuals strike a balance between gloss and humour.

The makers shared the track online, describing it as: “A beat that refuses to sit still. Presenting Ghafoor, straight from the crazy world of The Ba***ds of Bollywood, featuring Tamannaah Bhatia, Ranjeet, Shakti Kapoor and Gulshan Grover in a special appearance.”

Interestingly, Ghafoor isn’t just a standalone promotional track, it also plays an important role in the show. The number serves as the introduction for Arshad Warsi’s character, a flamboyant gangster who returns from Dubai. This blend of music and storytelling reflects Aryan Khan’s attempt to make the series more playful, self-aware, and energetic.

Produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment, the Netflix series marks Aryan’s directorial debut and features Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhari, Gautami Kapoor, Vijayant Kohli, and Rajat Bedi in central roles.
