Subham was released in theatres on Friday. As per the makers of the horror-comedy, the film “kicked off with a bang of collecting Rs 1.5 Cr (worldwide gross) on Day 1”.
“Dive into the thrilling blend of laughs and scares, in cinemas now,” Tra la la Pictures, which produced the movie, wrote on social media, sharing the BO update.
Starring Harshith Malgireddy and Shriya Kontham as the lead pair, Subham also features Charan Peri and Shalini Kondepudi, Gavireddy Srinivas and Shravani Lakshmi, and others. Directed by Praveen Kandregula, Subham has music by Vivek Sagar.
Subham has a mighty curious premise and is enriched by dollops of clever writing. The good part is that it is not a regular horror-comedy with a romantic plot. It’s more of a family horror-comedy with a social satire angle.
