DCM Shriram has commissioned a caustic soda flakes plant of 300 TPD capacity at its flagship chemicals complex at Jhagadia, Bharuch district, Gujarat on March 31. With this the total capacity of caustic soda flakes that the Bharuch unit can produce goes up to 900 TPD, making it one of the largest single location caustic soda flakes producing unit in the country. This plant is an identical twin of the unit commissioned last year in October and being flexi-fuel, both these plants allow for multiple fuel choices, thereby providing sustainability & driving efficiencies.
Nitco has said that it is targeting about Rs 100 crore profit in the next 2-3 years from the Thane property deal with Manometer India. In a statement, the company Ltd said it has successfully assigned leasehold rights for its prime industrial property in Thane, Maharashtra, to Manometer (India) LLP, formerly Manometer (India) Pvt Ltd. NHPC has announced starting commercial supply of 600 MW of electricity from three units of Parbati-II hydro project in Himachal Pradesh from April 1. Dalmia Bharat Ltd has announced that it has achieved a production capacity of 49.5 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) in FY25. The Dalmia family-promoted firm achieved this target after the commencement of commercial production of an additional 0.5 MTPA at its Rohtas Cement Works (RCW) plant in Bihar, according to a company statement.
Bosch has received a demand notice of over Rs 20 crore, including interest, from the Income Tax department for assessment year 2022-2023. In a regulatory filing, Bosch Ltd said it has received an assessment order dated March 28, 2025, for the Assessment Year 2022-2023, wherein a demand has been raised for Rs 18,36,85,366 and an interest of Rs 1,80,14,645. The order is passed by the assessment unit, Income Tax department, it added.
Waaree Energies has launched solar cell facility having a capacity of 5.4 gigawatt (GW) at Chikhli in Gujarat. Union New and Renewable Energy Minister Pralhad Joshi and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel attended the inauguration event along other senior government officials, Waaree Energies said in a statement. “Bharat’s largest solar cell manufacturing Gigafactory inaugurated by Waaree Energies in Chikhli, Gujarat,” the company said.
Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) today reported significant growth in its financial performance for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025, as per provisional data. Loan sanctions for FY 2024-25 stood at ₹47,453 crore, marking a 27 per cent increase from ₹37,354 crore in the previous year. Loan disbursements rose by 20 per cent to ₹30,168 crore, compared to ₹25,089 crore.inFY 24.
YES Bank has received a demand notice of Rs 2,209 crore for the assessment year 2019-20. The said assessment year was reopened by the income-tax department in April 2023, Yes Bank said in a regulatory filing. The reassessment order was passed by the National Faceless Assessment Unit of the income-tax department on March 28, wherein no additional disallowances or additions were made, that is, the grounds on which the reassessment proceedings were initiated have been dropped, it said.
Lenders of debt-ridden Reliance Capital have withdrawn petition filed against IndusInd International Holdings Ltd (IIHL) before appellate tribunal NCLAT. The Committee of Creditors (CoC) of Reliance Capital has informed NCLAT that the resolution plan was completely implemented by IIHL with the transfer of complete payment amounts in terms of the resolution plan. The CoC sought permission of the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal to withdraw its appeal filed against the NCLT order, in consideration of the completion of the implementation of the resolution plan by IIHL.
BSE, on Sunday, announced a 2:1 bonus share issue. This means that shareholders will receive two free shares for every one share they already hold. TVS Motor Company on Monday said its Singapore-based arm has divested its stake in Ion Mobility while acquiring identified assets from the latter for $1.75 million (nearly ₹15 crore). TVS Motor (Singapore) Pte Ltd (TVSM Singapore), a wholly-owned subsidiary has divested its stake in Ion Mobility Pte Ltd, a company registered under the laws of Singapore, TVS Motor Co said in a regulatory filing.

The board of directors of Cyient has given approval for the reorganisation of the global end-to-end semiconductor business into a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, to enable dedicated focus on this business. The audit committee had earlier approved the business transfer agreement between the company and its wholly owned subsidiary, Cyient Semiconductors Private Limited, to transfer the semiconductor business for ₹60.8 crore. Eyeing to tap the huge opportunity in the semiconductor, the company announced plans last year to set up an exclusive subsidiary.
The Income-Tax department has imposed a ₹944.20 crore penalty on InterGlobe Aviation, which operates IndiGo. In a stock exchange filing on Sunday, the airline stated that the order for AY22, issued by the department, is not in accordance with the law and is erroneous in nature. “The order has been passed on the basis of an erroneous understanding that an appeal filed by the company before the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) against the assessment order under Section 143(3) has been dismissed, whereas the same is still alive and pending adjudication,” the airline said.
