Prabhas’ upcoming film The Raja Saab recently shot the final leg of production in the picturesque locations in Greece. With the schedule wrap, the film is in its final stages, with dubbing underway. The trailer too caught the attention of many and sparked fan frenzy with Prabhas being showcased as a street-smart chap. And to raise the curiosity levels a notch higher, director Maruthi reportedly wants to shoot a second trailer.

Second trailer cut

After The Raja Saab trailer promised action, fun, romance and horror in equal measures, it has generated a lot of excitement in the minds of movie goers. Director Maruthi reportedly wants to build on the anticipation for the film and is planning to shoot a second trailer. Apparently, the visuals in the special trailer would be exclusively shot for the purpose and won’t be part of the film. This interesting development has certainly got the fans excited, but considering the tight rope the makers are walking, time could pose a challenge to the director.

Special shoot for the trailer?

According to sources, a special shoot for the trailer may commence after the filmmakers settle down on the post-production work. “Although the director aspires to have a unique second trailer cut to amp up the excitement levels, it’ll be interesting to see the practicalities. The idea may sound interesting but given the film’s deadline (January 9, 2026release) and the magnitude of the post-production works to be completed, it is quite a task,” informs a source close to the unit. Will The Raja Saab break the conventional style of trailer cut? We can’t wait to find out.

The recently released trailer showcases a haunted house with supernatural activities along with some funny puns. But towards the end, it takes an interesting turn with Prabhas himself wielding supernatural powers.
