SKY, starring Murali Krishnam Raju and Shruti Shetty as a romantic pair, is up for theatrical release soon. Pridhvi Pericherla has wielded the megaphone for this one. Its teaser, titled ‘Journey of Emotional SKY’, was unveiled today at an event.
Murali Krishnam Raju, who is not only the lead man but is also a producer of the film, expressed his desire to prove himself as an actor more than a hero material. He stated that SKY is so immersive that he lost himself while watching it recently. The feedback he has heard about the movie so far has filled him with confidence. While the release date of the movie is yet to be finalized, it is confirmed to be released in theatres soon.
Cinematographer Rasool Ellore suggested that top-notch quality has been achieved despite the budget not being high. The efforts put in by all departments have ensured that the output is commendable. He also described the nature of the love story as “poetic” in SKY. Besides the director-lead actor duo, the film is also bankrolled by Nagi Reddy Guntaka and Sri Lakshmi Guntaka.
Director Pridhvi Pericherla is making his debut. “After a recent screening, we received great feedback, which made us very happy. We now firmly believe that a compelling film can be made even within a modest budget. We will continue bringing such powerful stories to the screen,” he added.
Anand Bharati, Rakesh Master, MS, and KLK Mani Bamma are playing different roles. Produced by Valour Entertainment Studios, SKY is edited by Suresh Urs. The story and dialogues have been written by the hero-director duo. Shiva Prasad has composed the music.
