
A recent episode of CID showed Shivaji Satam‘s character, ACP Pradyuman, dying in a bomb blast orchestrated by the antagonist Barbosa, played by Tigmanshu Dhulia. This twist left fans shocked. However, reports now suggest that ACP Pradyuman is not dead. Several media outlets have revealed that the makers are planning a major plot twist to bring the iconic character back.

According to Telly Chakkar, the makers of CID are planning a grand re-entry for ACP Pradyuman, following overwhelming fan demand to bring the character back. Reportedly, Shivaji Satam is set to resume shooting for the show next week. A Times of India report also suggested that Parth Samthaan’s stint on the show would be short-lived.

While Shivaji Satam has remained unavailable for comment on the recent developments, he previously refrained from openly reacting to reports about ACP Pradyuman’s death on CID. However, Satam did mention that if the makers chose to end his character’s track, he would be at peace with the decision.
CID ran successfully on Indian television for 20 years. After a gap of six years, the show returned in December 2024.
