
To commemorate 31 years since her 1994 release, Shilpa Shetty shared a clip of the hit romantic song Chura Ke Dil Mera from the film, Main Khiladi Tu Anari. Directed by Sameer Malkan, the action-comedy was an important hit that solidified Akshay Kumar’s Khiladi persona, established Saif Ali Khan as a leading man, and marked a key moment in Shilpa Shetty’s career.

Shilpa shared a clip on Instagram featuring the immensely popular romantic song Chura Ke Dil Mera from the 1994 film. Sung by Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik, who lent their voices to many songs in the movie, the track remains a loved and iconic song in Hindi cinema, still enjoyed by many generations, even after three decades. The song, featuring Shilpa Shetty and Akshay Kumar, played a crucial role in the film’s huge success.

Sharing the video, Shilpa wrote, “31 years of Main Khiladi Tu Anari,” while tagging Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Shakti Kapoor and the makers of the film. The film featured Akshay Kumar as Inspector Karan Joglekar and Saif Ali Khan as the romantic actor Deepak Kumar in the leading roles, with Shilpa Shetty playing Mona/Basanti alongside Akshay’s character.

The story is based on a police officer and a film star who work together to take down a criminal. With its action-packed sequences, humorous comedy, chemistry between the leads, and popular songs such as Chura Ke Dil Mera, the film quickly gained popularity among fans.
