Actor Saif Ali Khan was brutally attacked at his home in Bandra in January. The actor sustained some major injuries after being stabbed six times. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he underwent surgery. While Saif bounced back in a few days, the entire incident was quite traumatic for his family. Recently, Saif’s daughter, actor Sara Ali Khan, opened up about the incident. While talking to NDTV, Sara revealed that the incident made her realise that life could have changed overnight had things gone very wrong.
Expressing her relief and gratitude, she said, “It makes you realise what truly matters. The entire family only felt gratitude because it could have gone so wrong. I am so grateful that everything is fine. It was a reminder of the life we have. We all talk about practising mental health. Being grateful for your life is so important. And moments like that make you realise it.”

She further added, “He is my father, we are as close as we can be. It did not make me realise that he is my father; it made me realise that life can change overnight. So every day deserves mindful celebration. It made me realise just being grateful.” The brutal attack on Saif had happened on January 16; he was discharged on January 21.
Sara is Saif Ali Khan’s daughter with first wife, Amrita Singh. She was last seen on the big screen in Sky Force, opposite Veer Pahariya. Her next project is Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino. The film also stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Anupam Kher, Konkana Sen, Neena Gupta, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Sheikh, and Pankaj Tripathi in important roles. It is slated to release on July 4 2025.
