Galaxy S24 and S23 series now getting Samsung’s June 2025 security update
For owners of the cutting-edge Galaxy S24 family, the June 2025 update has already landed. Users across Europe are seeing the new firmware, which comes with build numbers S921BXXS4BYEC for the Galaxy S24, S926BXXS4BYEC for the S24+, and S928BXXS4BYEC for the top-tier S24 Ultra (as reported by SamMobile). This security refresh clocks in at a respectable 473.69 MB, so make sure you’re connected to Wi-Fi before downloading.
Meanwhile, the still powerful Galaxy S23 series isn’t being left behind. The June 2025 security update is also making its way to the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. Currently, users in South Korea are the first to receive this new firmware. The build versions for these devices are S911NKSS6DYE5 for the S23, S916NKSS6DYE5 for the S23+, and S918NKSS6DYE5 for the S23 Ultra. This update is a solid 443.05 MB, being similar to the S24 lineup. While it’s starting in South Korea, Galaxy S23 users in other regions can expect to see this update arrive on their devices very soon.
A firmware totally focused on security
It’s noteworthy that you won’t encounter any new issues after the update on any of the devices. This is one of those OTAs focused entirely on improving the security of your mobile device.
