Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7

Hyderabad: The much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is all set to make its global debut on July 9 at the Galaxy Unpacked event alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7. With just days left for the official unveiling, new hands-on images of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 have leaked online, offering a close look at the book-style foldable’s sleek design and form factor.

Tipster Jukan Choi (@Jukanlosreve) posted several images of the device on X (formerly Twitter), showcasing the phone in its Blue Shadow colourway. The leaked images reveal the front and back of the device, including a triple rear camera setup that appears to drop the individual lens rings seen on the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The images also highlight a crease-free inner foldable display, a visible SIM card slot, and a noticeably slimmer profile.

According to the leak, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 measures 8.9mm in thickness when folded and a remarkably thin 4.2mm when unfolded, offering a more compact and elegant design compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 6, which measures 12.1mm folded and 5.6mm unfolded.

The handset is expected to come with an 8-inch internal display, a 6.5-inch cover screen, and a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset under the hood. It will likely be available in Jet Black, Silver Shadow, and Blue Shadow colour variants, with storage options including 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.

European pricing is tipped to start at EUR 2,227.71 (approx. ₹2,23,000) for the 256GB model and EUR 2,309.03 (approx. ₹2,31,100) for the 512GB variant. Reports suggest the device will feature a glass ceramic back panel and an aluminium frame, adding to its premium appeal.

With anticipation building, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 promises to be one of the most exciting foldable smartphones of 2025.

Samsung is expected to reveal more during its Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9.
