All three Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 models have just surfaced thanks to Evan Blass aka evleaks, following our exclusive Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 leak. He shared renders of all three Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 models from all sides, thus showing us their designs.
The vanilla Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 has the most understated design in the family
Let’s start with the watch that offers the simplest design, the vanilla model, the Galaxy Watch 8. If you check out the image below, you’ll see it from all angles. There’s really not much to hide here, design-wise.
It will have an oval shape, with a round display. On the right side, you’ll see two physical buttons and a microphone hole in between them. On the left, a speaker is located, while a heart rate sensor and some additional sensors sit at the bottom.
The watch does seem to be quite thin based on what we’re seeing here. It also comes with a silicone band, well, at least the model that Blass shared here. This is a dark gray model.
The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is similar to the ‘Ultra’, but has a different front design
The second watch that leaked out is the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. You can see it in the gallery below. The model that is shown here combines a metallic silver watch with a white wristband, which seems to be made out of leather.
It is thicker than the Galaxy Watch 8, notably thicker. It has three buttons on the right-hand side. The rotating crown is flanked by two physical keys, while a microphone is there too. A speaker sits on the left-hand side.
A heart rate sensor sits on the bottom, along with some additional sensors, just like on the Galaxy Watch 8. This one also has an oval shape, but it has some additional cutouts around the watch body. It’ll also be easier to find a watch band for this watch, as it has protruding watch lugs, so it’s easily compatible with almost every 22mm watch band out there.
The ‘Ultra’ watch will be the most premium and most expensive model
And finally, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Ultra, which could be called the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) based on what Blass said. This smartwatch also has an oval shape, and it’s very similar to the ‘Classic’, but without the embedded details on the metal around the watch face.
It also has three buttons on the right-hand side, while the microphone location is similar. The speaker also sits on the left side, while you’ll find a number of other sensors at the bottom. This watch seems to offer similar thickness to the ‘Classic’.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 series will become official next month during the second ‘Unpacked’ event of the year. It is rumored to take place on July 9, and aside from these watches, Samsung’s new foldables are also coming. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will launch.
