Salman Khan postpones UK tour after Pahalgam attack: ‘Only right to pause during this time of grief’ | Bollywood News

Actor Salman Khan took to his Instagram account to announce that in the light of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, he has postponed his UK Tour, The Bollywood Big One shows. The events were scheduled for May 4-5 in the UK. On Monday morning, Salman shared the poster of the tour, and a big ‘postponed’ logo was placed on it.

Celebs such as Madhuri Dixit Nene, Sara Ali Khan, Tiger Shroff, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover, and Maniesh Paul were a part of the tour, besides Salman.

Salman wrote, “In light of the recent tragic events in Kashmir, and with profound sadness, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone The Bollywood Big One shows, originally scheduled for May 4th and 5th in Manchester and London.” The actor added, “While we understand how much our fans were looking forward to these performances, we feel it is only right to pause during this time of grief. We sincerely apologise for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause and deeply appreciate your understanding and support. New dates for the shows will be announced shortly.”

The horrific terror attack on the tourists took place in Kashmir’s Pahalgam on April 22, which claimed 26 lives.

Post the terrorist attack, Salman had shared his reaction via X. He posted, “Kashmir, heaven on planet earth turning into hell. Innocent people being targeted, my heart goes out to their families. Ek bhi innocent ko marna puri kainath ko marne ke barabar hai (Killing even a single innocent person is equivalent to killing the entire universe).”

Not only Salman, but earlier a few other personalities too canceled their concerts amidst the Pahalgam attack. Singer Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal are on the list. Arijit Singh had called off his concert in Chennai while Shreya Ghoshal’s event was planned in Surat on April 26, which got canceled.
