Director Sailesh Kolanu is basking in the success of HIT 3, which recently entered the Rs 100 Cr club. In a recent interview, he revealed that he will be helming a rom-com next.
Speaking to Permit Room, the HIT franchise maker said that he wants to explore urban relationships. “I enjoy writing romantic portions in my thrillers. I now want to do a rom-com,” he said.
Speaking at the success event of HIT 3 on Saturday, Natural Star Nani revealed that Kolanu recently pitched a comedy idea to him. Nani liked the idea and plans to star in the film. However, this project might happen a few years later.
Sailesh Kolanu also plans to mount a large-scale movie on which he will spend 3-4 years of his life. “That’s a huge idea. It’s still in a nascent stage. Whenever I take it up, it will take years for the project to reach the final stage,” the director revealed. Â
