“The world of the One just got real and absolute Retro,” the makers of Suriya’s Retro wrote, announcing that the film has been awarded UA rating by the CBFC. A strong dose of love, laughter, and war are guaranteed.

The film’s pre-release event will be held on April 26th (Saturday). JRC Convention in Hyderabad is where the event will be held. Vijay Deverakonda will be gracing the occasion as the chief guest.

Starring Pooja Hegde as the female lead, Retro also features Prakash Raj, Jayaram, and Joju George. With music by Santhosh Narayanan, Retro has cinematography by Shreyaas Krishna. Shafique Mohamed Ali is the Editor. Art Direction is by Jacki and Mayapandi. Kecha Khamphakdee is the stunt director.

Retro, helmed by Karthik Subbaraj, is scheduled to head to theatres on May 1st.
