Rasha Thadani and Abhay Verma confirmed in Laikey Laikaa

Phantom Studios has put an end to all rumours by officially announcing their next project with Rasha Thadani and Abhay Verma in the lead. In the past few days, rumours were rife that fans could see the two actors together on the screen, and the latest announcement confirms the rumours. According to the announcement, the two are all set to share screen space for the first time in the upcoming movie, Laikey Laikaa.

On June 11, Phantom Studios took to Instagram to announce their new film, titled Laikey Laikaa, featuring Rasha Thadani and Abhay Verma, with a goofy video of the two. The fresh pair is expected to win over the audience with their on-screen chemistry. The announcement video features Rasha and Abhay, where they are seen introducing the film. Sharing the announcement video, the makers captioned the post, “She’s the chaos. He’s the calm. Or is it the other way around? Get ready for #LaikeyLaikaa in theatres, Summer 2026!” As soon as the announcement video dropped, netizens couldn`t help but notice and praise the chemistry between the two lead actors. Many claimed they looked cute together, expressing their excitement and anticipation for the upcoming film. 

Abhay and Rasha`s upcoming projects

Abhay Verma received recognition for his role in Manoj Bajpayee`s The Family Man. He later shot to fame with Maddock`s horror-comedy Munjya, alongside Sharvari. Next, he will be seen in Shah Rukh Khan`s King. The film also stars Suhana Khan, Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, among others. He is also rumoured to star alongside Shanaya Kapoor in an upcoming untitled romantic film directed by Shujaat Saudagar.

On the other hand, Laikey Laikaa will mark Rasha Thadani`s second film. Raveena Tandon`s daughter, Rasha, made her Bollywood debut with Azaad opposite Ajay Devgn`s nephew, Amaan Devgan. Although the film, also starring Ajay Devgn, underperformed at the box office, Rasha became a hit on social media after her item number from the film, Uyi Amma, went viral on the internet.
