Suriya’s Retro seems to be heading for a flop status in Tamil as well. It’s a washout in Telugu. Pooja Hegde has just dished out her filmography’s seventh consecutive flop with the Karthik Subbaraj directorial.
It all began with Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam, Prabhas’ career-biggest flop. Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast, which had Pooja in a very insignificant role, flopped. After Acharya in Telugu, she went on to act in three Bollywood duds. Retro was touted to be her comeback movie but she has had hard luck with the film.
Some Netizens have come to the defence of Pooja Hegde at a time when she has been described as an “iron leg”. WRote Insplag, “If we can forgive multiple flops of actors when they suddenly give one big hit then why bother labelling their female leads as iron legs? It is stupid to make them scapegoats for the failure of big-budget films when they rarely get good roles or screen time to begin with.”
Pooja Hegde did a special song in F3. She is once again doing a special song in Rajinikanth’s Coolie.
