PBKS vs LSG, IPL 2025: Rishabh Pant wins toss, Lucknow opt to bowl

In the ongoing IPL 2025 match against Punjab Kings (PBKS), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) skipper Rishabh Pant has won the toss and elected to bowl first.

The IPL 2025 match at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium promises to be a run-fest for the batsmen, considering the short boundaries at the venue.

Ahead of the match, Lucknow captain Pant`s performance will be under scrutiny. After having a horrific run in the IPL 2025, the left-hander will aim for a big knock tonight.

The inclusion of speedster Mayank Yadav has also strengthened LSG`s bowling lineup. The dugout will heavily rely on their in-form batsman Nicholas Pooran to deliver a crucial performance against Punjab.

PBKS will expect a strong start from their opening duo, Prabhsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya. Their in-form skipper Shreyas will also help them stabilise the innings in the middle.

Currently, Punjab is placed in the fourth position on the IPL 2025 points table with 13 points. Whereas LSG`s chances to make the cut to the playoffs are thin. Lucknow has been able to win five matches and has suffered defeats in the same number of games.
