
Actor, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister, and Jana Sena Party President Pawan Kalyan’s youngest son, Mark Shankar, was injured in a fire mishap at his school in Singapore on Tuesday. The eight-year-old sustained burn injuries on his hands and legs and has been admitted to a hospital. Jana Sena Party’s official X (formerly Twitter) account shared an update on the incident.
The tweet read, “State Deputy Chief Minister Shri Pawan Kalyan’s younger son Mark Shankar was caught in a fire accident in Singapore. A fire broke out at the school where Mark Shankar was studying. He sustained injuries to his hands and legs in the accident. He also suffered from smoke inhalation. Mark Shankar has been admitted to the hospital and is undergoing treatment.”
The post also mentioned that party leaders have urged Pawan Kalyan to shorten his official tour of the Alluri Sitarama Raju district and travel to Singapore to be with his son. It further read, “Shri Pawan Kalyan, who is currently on a tour of Alluri Seetharamaraju district, came to know about this matter. Officials and leaders suggested that he should stop the tour and go to Singapore.”

However, the actor/politician has insisted that he will travel to Singapore only after concluding his tour. Pawan Kalyan and wife Anna Lezhneva welcomed their son Mark Shankar on October 10, 2017. Anna Lezhneva, a Russian model, is Pawan Kalyan’s third wife. The two met during the filming of Teen Maar in 2011 and got married on September 30, 2013.
