Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani welcomed their firstborn, a daughter, on July 15 this year. The actor is now shuffling between his dad duties and work commitments. His film Param Sundari, with Janhvi Kapoor, is all set to be released in theatres tomorrow. Ahead of that, the duo appeared on a show as part of the promotional activities for the film. Sidharth opened up about his daughter and how he is balancing his personal and professional life.

He said, “Arey pura schedule change ho gaya, abhi main waheen se aa raha hoon subeh subeh. Chahe woh khaane peene ka dhyaan ho, unke sleeping pattern ho, aaj kal raat ko late nights chal rahi hai par alag kisam ki! Teen chaar baje feeding ho raha.” (My entire schedule has changed. I just came from there early this morning. Whether it’s paying attention to her meals, her sleeping pattern, these days I’m having late nights but of a different kind! Feeding happens at three or four in the morning.)

He warmly added, “Main toh abhi supporting actor play kar raha hoon, jo sirf wahan pe khade hoke dekh raha hai.” (Right now I’m just playing the role of a supporting actor, just standing there and watching.)

Sidharth made these comments on The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3. When Archana Puran Singh grilled him on diaper duties, he shared, “Kiya hai diaper change, aur bina diaper ka ‘oops moment’ bhi experience kiya hai ab toh.”

(I have changed diapers, and I’ve also experienced the ‘oops moment’ without a diaper) The new papa on the block couldn’t stop gushing about his new role in life

Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s Param Sundari also stars Renji Panicker, Manjot Singh, Sanjay Kapoor and Inayat Verma. It will be released theatrically on August 29.
