OPPO Pad 4 Pro
The OPPO Pad 4 Pro has been generating a significant amount of buzz in tech spheres, as it is slated to be the world’s first tablet powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This prioritized advancement makes sure that the OPPO Pad 4 Pro is placed at the forefront of tablet performance, providing users with a seamless yet efficient experience.
The OPPO Pad 4 Pro will be OPPO’s flagship tablet for the year 2025, and stands to succeed the Pad 3 Pro released back in October 2024. The device was first listed on Geekbench with the model number OPD2409, matching the device’s model number on China’s 3C platform
The tablet is expected to feature a 13.2-inch LCD panel with a 3.4K resolution, delivering sharp and vibrant visuals suitable for both entertainment and productivity needs. Design-wise, the official render provided by the company shows a sleek device with slim bezels that will undoubtedly give users an immersive viewing experience. The rear of the tablet showcases a vertical camera module housing a single camera sensor, accompanied by an LED flash; minimalistic as aesthetics go.
Equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the OPPO Pad 4 Pro will be able to handle multitasking, gaming, and media consumption with the utmost ease. The processor configuration has six cores clocked at 3.53 GHz and two cores clocked at 4.32 GHz, with the listing also mentioning the presence of an onboard Adreno 830 GPU.
The tablet’s performance credentials are further supported by its appearance on Geekbench, where it was able to achieve impressive scores of 2,633 and 7,779 points in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively, indicating robust processing capabilities. To ensure prolonged usage, the device is rumored to pack a substantial 12,000 mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging, allowing users to quickly recharge and continue their activities without significant interruption.
OPPO plans to offer the OPPO Pad 4 Pro in various configurations to cater to a diverse user base. The tablets can be purchased in variants of 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 512GB storage, and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage. These options provide flexibility for users requiring different levels of performance and storage capacity. In terms of shades, the device will be available in three colour variants: Morning Light, Galaxy Silver, and Space Gray.
OPPO Watch X2 Mini
Alongside the OPPO Pad 4 Pro, OPPO is introducing the Watch X2 Mini, a smartwatch designed to specifically blend functionality with a refined look. This compact wearable is made to appeal to users seeking both style and substance in their smart accessories.
Featuring a 42mm dial, the Watch X2 Mini is for those who prefer a smaller and more discreet smartwatch, with the official renders showing off a beautiful gold-coloured body and a uniquely chamfered crown, exuding a look of elegance and refinement. This design approach suggests that OPPO aims to cater to users who value fashion as much as functionality in their wearable devices.
According to Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) on X (formerly Twitter), the OPPO X2 Mini will arrive sporting a 60 Hz AMOLED display, with LPTO technology. The wearable will support 2200 nits peak brightness, making it perfectly usable even when outdoors.
Allegedly, the Watch X2 Mini will be equipped with a Snapdragon W5 chipset and a BES2800 MCU (dual-chip), achieving up to 3 days of usage, or with power saving mode activated, 6 – 8 days. Concerning the operating system, working onboard is the ColorOS Watch 7, with Wear OS 5 and an RTOS hybrid system working efficiently in tandem.
Abhishek went on to add that the device will be shipped with 32 GB of storage, 2 GB of RAM, and will contain the usual assortment of health-beneficial systems, such as an optical heart rate sensor, a check for oxygen saturation, fall detection, and a 60-second health check. The smartwatch will be water resistant up to 5 ATM and will arrive with an IP68 certification.
To complement its elegant design, the Watch X3 Mini will be available in three distinct shades: Morning Silver, Starry Black, and Tomorrow Gold. These options allow users to choose a colour that best matches their style and preferences, while all three options carry with them a certain air of elegance. Presently, the upcoming event will launch the wearable for Chinese audiences, so its international availability remains a mystery.
When it comes to the devices, both the OPPO Pad 4 Pro and Watch X2 Mini show OPPO’s dedication to overall innovation as well as design excellence. The pioneering use of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, expansive high-resolution display, and a substantial battery life make the OPPO Pad 4 Pro a compelling choice for likely consumers.
Meanwhile, the Watch X2 Mini’s elegant design makes it an attractive option for those who are currently on the lookout for a compact and stylish smartwatch. As OPPO expands its product ecosystem, these new devices will surely resonate with a diverse range of customers.
