OnePlus 13T tipped to launch in April: Here’s what we know so far about the compact phone | Technology News

OnePlus is reportedly working on a new compact smartphone that might come with a bigger battery than the company’s latest flagship – the OnePlus 13. According to the known tipster Digital Chat Station, who recently posted on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, the upcoming phone will have a 6.3-inch screen with 1.5K resolution and pack an impressive 6,200mAh battery.

While the tipster did not explicitly mention the name of the phone, numerous rumours suggest that it will be the OnePlus 13T, which may be rebranded to OnePlus 13 Mini in some markets. Speculations also suggest that the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, support 80W wired charging and get the new customisable button, which OnePlus said will replace the iconic Alert Slider.

And while it is still unclear whether the OnePlus 13T will get a dual or triple camera setup, it is said that the phone will sport a 50MP primary camera alongside a 50MP telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom, or these two shooters plus an 8MP ultrawide lens. Also, we don’t know if the OnePlus 13T will get IP68 and IP69 protection.

Like most premium phones, the OnePlus 13T is said to come with a metal frame and a glass back and run on ColorOS 16 based on Android 15 out of the box. It is likely that the phone will be launched right after the Oppo Find X8s series in China, which is set to make its debut sometime in April.
