The OnePlus 13s has been officially announced in India. As many of you know, this is essentially the same phone as the OnePlus 13T that launched in China. OnePlus decided to rebrand it for India.
New name, slightly less battery—OnePlus 13s still packs a punch
Now, while it’s almost identical, it’s not an exact copy. It does look the same, and the vast majority of its specs are the same… but, there is one difference worth noting. This model has a smaller battery… which is still huge for this phone size.
The OnePlus 13T comes with a 6,260mAh battery. That battery capacity is more than enough for even the largest phones out there, and this is a compact device, so… there you go. The OnePlus 13s, on the flip side, has a 5,850mAh battery pack. That is plenty for this phone.
Just to put things into perspective, the Galaxy S25 has a 6.2-inch display and a 4,000mAh battery. This one has a 6.32-inch display and a 5,850mAh battery. Enough said.
It looks exactly the same as the OnePlus 13T
In any case, the OnePlus 13s is made out of aluminum and glass. It has a flat display, a flat backplate, and its frame is also flat all around the phone. A camera island with three cameras sits in the top-left corner, while there is a custom key on the left side of the phone, which is supposed to replace the alert slider.
This smartphone is fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, Qualcomm’s most powerful one. It includes 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.0 flash storage, depending on the model you choose.
It’s a compact powerhouse
A 6.32-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display is used here, with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Android 15 comes pre-installed, along with OxygenOS 15. OnePlus promises 4 years of OS updates along with 6 years of security updates. This phone also has two nano SIM card slots.
That 5,850mAh battery comes coupled with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging support. Wireless charging is not supported here. The phone has stereo speakers and is IP65 certified for water and dust resistance.
A 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.8 aperture, 1/1.56-inch sensor size, OIS) is included on the back. A 50-megapixel telephoto shooter (f/2.0 aperture, 2x optical zoom) also sits on the back. On the front, you’ll find a 32-megapixel snapper.
India has an exclusive ‘Green Silk’ color
The phone does include an optical in-display fingerprint scanner and an IR blaster up top. It measures 150.81×71.70×8.15mm and weighs 185 grams. The OnePlus 13s comes in Black Velvet, Pink Satin, and the India-exclusive Green Silk colors. Its pricing starts at INR54,999 ($641).
