The movie revolves around the stormy relationship between Morgan and her 16-year-old daughter, their experience with grief, and their attempts to forge a new beginning. The cast includes Allison Williams, Mckenna Grace, Dave Franco, Scott Eastwood and Willa Fitzgerald.
A House of Dynamite

Oscar-winning director Kathryn Bigelow’s first movie in eight years is a political thriller about the dangers of nuclear warfare. The story is about how the US government tackles a nuclear missile launched by an unidentified enemy. The cast includes Idris Elba, Gabriel Basso, Rebecca Ferguson, Jared Harris, Jason Clarke, Tracy Letts and Anthony Ramos.

Acclaimed Edward Berger (All Quiet on the Wester Front, Conclave) adapts the novel of the same name by Lawrence Osborne. Colin Farrell plays Doyle, a down-on-his-luck gambler in Macau who is offered a way out of his debts by a mysterious casino employee (Fala Chen). Tilda Swinton plays the investigator pursing Doyle.
Hedda

Nia Dacosta (Candyman, The Marvels) directs a contemporary version of Henrik Ibsen’s classic nineteenth-century play Hedda Gabler. The film stars Tessa Thompson, Imogen Poots and Tom Bateman in the lead roles.
Down Cemetery Road

A series adaptation of the exploits of private detective Zoë Boehm, created by Mick Herron (Slow Horses). The cast includes Emma Thompson as Boehm, Ruth Wilson, Adeel Akhtar and Tom Riley.
Boehm investigates a mysterious explosion in a house in Oxford that is followed by the disappearance of a young girl. The first two of eight episodes will be premiered on October 29, followed by episodes every Wednesday until December 10.
The Witcher Season 4

Liam Hemsworth steps into Henry Cavill’s large shoes as the silver-haired Witcher. Hemsworth is joined by Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan, Joey Batey and Laurence Fishburne.
The fantasy series is based on the books by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski. The official synopsis for season 4: “After the Continent-altering events of Season Three, Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri find themselves separated by a raging war and countless enemies. As their paths diverge, and their goals sharpen, they stumble on unexpected allies eager to join their journeys.”
Aileen: Queen of the Serial Killers

The latest fix for true crime junkies is about American serial killer Aileen Wuornos, who murdered seven men between 1989 and 1990. Her tragic life has previously been explored by Nick Broomfield in two documentaries and fictionalised for the film Monster (2003), starring Charlize Theron. The new docuseries promises to re-examine Wuornos’s psychological make-up through a contemporary prism.
Baahubali: The Epic

SS Rajamouli has recut his two-part Baahubali blockbusters into a single movie of three hours and 40 minutes. The new version will include remastered scenes and unseen footage. The movie will be out in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam in IMAX and regular formats.
Baahubali explores the legacy of Sivudu, a prince who is brought up as a commoner and returns in his adulthood to reclaim his status. The cast includes Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sathyaraj and Nassar. The music is by MM Keeravani.
Bugonia

Director Yorgos Lanthimos teams up once again with Poor Things actor Emma Stone for a black comedy. Bugonia stars Stone as a company’s CEO and Jesse Plemons and Aidan Delbis as conspiracy theorists who believe that Stone’s character is an alien who will destroy humanity.

Huma Qureshi plays a woman whose much-delayed marriage is interrupted by the arrival of a second suitor. Nachiket Samant’s film also stars Shreyas Talpade and Sunny Singh.

Bramayugam director Rahul Sadasivan’s new horror film stars Pranav Mohanlal as the resident of a haunted house. The film is targetting Halloween, the American festival that falls on October 31.

Scott Derrickson is back in the director’s chair for Black Phone 2. So is Ethan Hawke as The Grabber, who seemingly died in the previous movie but returns with even greater powers. The cast includes Mason Thames and Madeline McGraw.

Ben Leonberg’s directorial debut stars his own dog Indy as the lead character. Indy plays a pet dog who is the first to sense that his master Todd’s new house is haunted.
