Nothing Phone (3) Is Getting Serious – Leaked Specs Confirm Flagship Ambitions

Nothing has been hyping its July-bound flagship smartphone, the Nothing Phone (3), in some way or another for a few weeks now. Earlier this month, the first look of the flagship smartphone leaked online, hinting at a major design overhaul. Now, the specs of the Nothing Phone (3) have leaked online, alongside a new design partly visible through a blurred image. 

Leaked specs of the Nothing Phone (3) suggest that a flagship is on the way

X account, @gadget_bits, first posted the leaked specs of the Nothing Phone (3). Per the post, the Nothing Phone (3) will feature a 6.7-inch 1.5K OLED LTPO display. To catch you up, the company has already confirmed that the upcoming flagship phone will skip the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC in favor of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. The leaked specs of the Nothing Phone (3) also suggest the same. 

The major upgrade relates to the camera setup of the Nothing Phone (3). The leaked camera specs hint that the flagship smartphone will pack a new 50MP periscope camera with 3x optical zoom. On the other hand, there’ll be a primary and ultra-wide camera of 50MP. Per the leaked specs, the Nothing Phone (3) will also sport a 50MP front camera, a bump from the 32MP found on its predecessor. Rumors also suggest that the front camera could finally get an autofocus feature. 

The leaked specs further hint at a 5,150mAh battery inside the Nothing Phone (3). For the uninitiated, the Nothing Phone (2) packs a 4,700mAh battery. Therefore, you can expect an improved battery life on the Nothing’s flagship Android smartphone for 2025. The device could also support 100W wired charging, alongside wireless and reverse wireless charging. 

What’s interesting is that the leaked specs also hint at eSIM support. Do note that last year’s Phone (2) lacked this support. Worth noting that the leaked specs come alongside a blurry image of the rear-view of the Nothing Phone (3). In the image below, you can see that the rear camera lenses are asymmetric. Honestly, it looks pretty odd, altogether different than what it looked in the previously leaked design. 

A new Glyph design, pricing, and release date

Nothing also appears to be moving away from the original Glyph design with the Phone (3). The leaked specs of the Nothing Phone (3) accompany a blurry image that shows a new type of LED notification system. Besides, you can expect two different variants of the device. The base model could come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Whereas, the beefier variant could pack 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Nothing has already hinted that the device would cost somewhere around £800 (~ $1074). Moreover, the Nothing Phone (3) will likely launch on July 1, with Android 15-based Nothing OS 3.5.
