Athiya Shetty and her cricketer husband, KL Rahul, recently performed Grih Pravesh at their new house, and a photo has now gone viral on social media. In a photo shared by Rahul, he can be seen sitting with Athiya inside their home and performing rituals in the presence of a priest. They were both twinning in white. The couple marked this milestone after the birth of their firstborn, a daughter named Evaarah Vipula Rahul, this year.

Last month, the couple shared glimpses of their quality family time in England. Rahul shared a picture of Athiya and him sitting in a park. The second picture, presumably clicked by Athiya, showed the cricketer carrying his daughter in his arms as he took a stroll around the park. In a separate post, he was seen at the restaurant with his brother-in-law, actor Ahan Shetty, followed by an adorable picture of Evaarah clutching Rahul’s hands with her tiny fingers. Suniel Shetty and Ranveer Singh, among others, commented on the post and expressed their love for the family.

Athiya and Rahul’s love story began in January 2019, when they met through a mutual friend. After years of dating, they tied the knot in 2023 at Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse in Khandala,  surrounded by close family and friends. On the work front, Athiya made her debut with the 2015 film Hero. However, her actor-father, Suniel Shetty, revealed some time back that Athiya has decided to quit Bollywood and acting.
