A builder was shot at by two unidentified persons travelling on a bike in Chembur on Wednesday night, police said.
Sadruddin Khan alias Sadru (50) sustained bullet injuries and was admitted to a local hospital.
An official said that his condition is stable.
A senior officer said that the incident took place around 9.50 pm near Diamond garden in Chembur when the two persons fired on Sadru who along with his son were headed towards Belapur where he resided.
The Chembur police registered an FIR and are looking for the accused.
