Motorola‘s Edge 60 Pro has leaked several times in various ways, and now it appears the first live images of the device have shown up. There are two images of the device (they’ve been merged into one image) that have appeared with one showing the display and another showing the back.

What’s interesting is that the color of the back looks almost like a dark gray. That doesn’t quite match up with any of the previously rumored colors that have been mentioned for the device up to this point. The color also looks a little bit green. Although it’s much darker than the green seen on the Edge 60 Pro from a leak back in March.

Motorola Edge 60 Pro live images show a curved display

This isn’t really a new piece of information about the phone, as past leaks show the curved display as well. However, since this is a live image of the device, it does sort of give a better look at the curve of the screen’s edges. The live images come from Sudhhanshu on X (via Xpertpick). While it’s kind of hard to tell since there’s a lot of lost detail in the image, Xpertpick mentions the phone’s vegan leather back.

So this appears to be another detail as further evidence that Motorola is sticking with its choice to use different materials for the backs of its different phones. For comparison, the leak from March 26 shows a close-up of what the back material looks like. And it does indeed look to be vegan leather.

The phone will come with a 5,100mAh battery

Alongside the image, the report mentions a few specs for the device. This includes a 5,100mAh battery as well as the use of a MediaTek chip inside. Specifically, the MediaTek Dimensity 8350. This lines up with past leaks about the device specs and hardware. The Edge 60 Pro also appears to have a new mystery button on the left-hand side. You can see this when viewing the phone from the front, which you can also see in this leaked image.

So it seems clear that this is the Pro model. That being said, the color still seems a bit off. What appears to be the case is that it’s been altered somewhat. If you zoom in close enough on the image, you can see that there’s green in the middle. Yet the edges and bottom have all been darkened. Almost like it was painted over in Microsoft pain or GIMP or some other program. Perhaps to hide the color for some reason.

Motorola will also be releasing the Edge 60 Fusion model. This will come in four colors and feature and likely be the mid-range model of the device.
