Miss World 2025: Ishaan Khatter surprises ARMY by grooving to `Mic Drop`

Bollywood actor Ishaan Khatter wowed audiences with his dance skills on the Miss World 2025 stage in Hyderabad. The young actor, known for his impeccable dancing, delivered a power-packed performance on Saturday as India hosted the prestigious Miss World pageant. However, it was his song selection that had fans buzzing across the internet.

While Ishaan performed to a medley of songs, it was his dance to the iconic BTS track Mic Drop that went viral on social media. Indian fans of the K-pop group were pleasantly surprised to discover that Ishaan himself is part of the ARMY (BTS’s fandom).

ARMY reacts

Although many fans were thrilled to see him dance to a K-pop song, others were not as impressed with the performance.

“Choreography left the world,” wrote one ARMY member reacting to the dance video.

“I`m embarrassed on their behalf.”

“Dance acha nahi hai bilkul bhi. BTS ka dance perfect hota hai ❤️ Hobi chaku leke khada hai.”

“In dance steps ke saath toh is gaane ka pura kachra kar diya isne.”

Miss World 2025 winner: Thailand`s Opal Suchata Chuangsri crowned

Thailand’s Opal Suchata Chuangsri was crowned Miss World 2025 in a star-studded grand finale held on Saturday in Hyderabad, Telangana. She edged out Ethiopia’s Hasset Dereje Admassu, who finished as the runner-up.

For the ceremony, Suchata wore a stunning white gown adorned with opalescent floral motifs. The gown symbolized healing and strength. The event also featured the outgoing Miss World, Krystyna Pyszkova of the Czech Republic, passing on the crown to her successor.

Chuangsri triumphed over 107 other national winners from around the globe, marking Thailand’s first-ever victory at the Miss World pageant.

India’s hopes were dashed early in the competition as Nandini Gupta, the country`s representative, failed to make it into the Top 8 finalists.

Last year, Krystyna Pyszkova of the Czech Republic was declared the 71st Miss World during a ceremony that was also held in India — the first time in 28 years. She beat contestants Yasmina Zaytoun (Lebanon), Ache Abrahams (Trinidad and Tobago), and Lesego Chombo (Botswana) to win the title.

India has won the Miss World crown six times, with actress Manushi Chhillar being the most recent Indian titleholder.
