MINI India has launched a price protection assurance program for the MINI 3-Door Cooper S, offering customers refunds if the vehicle’s price drops within 180 days of purchase.
The program covers vehicles purchased from May 23 onwards. If MINI reduces the Cooper S price during the 180-day period, authorized dealerships will refund the difference between the invoiced price and the new ex-showroom price to customers.
“MINI is staying a step ahead and ensuring that customers are able to receive the full benefit of any major price reductions resulting from anticipated duty cuts,” said Vikram Pawah, President and CEO of BMW Group India. “They can buy their favourite MINI today and do not have to wait longer to make the purchase decision.”
The MINI 3-Door Cooper S currently starts at Rs 44,90,000 (ex-showroom). The vehicle is imported as a completely built-up unit from MINI Plant Oxford in the United Kingdom.
The offer applies only to the Cooper S model and excludes the all-electric MINI Countryman, which is imported from BMW Group Plant Leipzig in Germany.
MINI India operates as part of BMW Group India, which has been present in the Indian market since 2007. The company sells BMW, MINI, and BMW Motorrad products through a network of authorized dealerships across India.
The price protection program is available at all authorized MINI dealerships in India. Customers must contact local dealers for specific terms and conditions of the program.
Ex-showroom prices include GST and applicable compensation cess but exclude road tax, TCS, RTO fees, statutory taxes, and insurance.
